What are cookies?
Cookies are small files that some websites store on your computer or mobile phone when you visit them. They are used, for example, to remember your preferences, measure visits or show advertising. Other similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage, are governed by the same rules.
Cookies used by this website
This website does not use its own or third-party cookies for analytics, advertising, personalisation or tracking.
The only thing we store in your browser is a marker that remembers you have closed the cookie notice, so that it is not shown to you again:
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| aviso-cookies-cerrado | Local storage, first-party and technical | To remember that you have closed the cookie notice | Until you clear your browser data |
As this data is strictly necessary to respect your choice, it is exempt from the consent requirement under article 22.2 of Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE).
Counting visits without cookies
To know how many people visit the website and which pages are read most, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a service of Cloudflare, Inc., the same company that hosts this website. It works without cookies: it does not store or read anything in your browser, does not build profiles and does not follow you from one website to another.
We only see overall figures: number of visits, pages viewed, referring website, country, type of device and loading speed. We cannot tell who you are from that data. To serve the page and count the visit, Cloudflare processes your IP address briefly and for technical purposes only, as a data processor.
Third-party content and links
The photographs, videos, fonts and vision simulator are served from our own server. The only connection to another domain is the measurement service described above, which sets no cookies.
Some links lead to external websites, such as Google Maps (“Get directions”). If you click them, those websites may set their own cookies in accordance with their own policies, which we recommend you read.
How to manage or delete cookies
You can view, block or delete cookies and data stored by any website in your browser settings:
Changes to this policy
If in the future we add any cookie that requires your consent, we will update this policy and ask for your permission before setting it. If you have any questions, you can write to admin@drjavierlara.com. More information in the legal notice.
